Our interventions have saved many lives, changed mindsets, restored dignity through justice and given survivors the opportunity for a new start away from fear for their safety.
We champion for a changed attitude of all key players in child protection and safeguarding enabling a happy and safe environment. We also promote access to justice for the voiceless through legal clinics, education and representation.
We achieve this through the following activities:
- We empower communities and stakeholders at all levels in proactively taking critical actions in prevention and support to the survivors of Gender Based Violence (GBV), especially women and children.
- We champion for changed attitudes of everyone engaged in child protection and safeguarding, creating happy and safe environments for children. We also promote access to justice for the voiceless through legal clinics, education and representation.
- We develop strategies that improve policy and legal frameworks, challenge patriarchy and retrogressive culture and beliefs. We prioritize mental health and psycho-social support to all our survivors and communities as part of their well-being and recovery process.
- We create strategic partnerships and collaborations with government and non-government institutions supporting survivors of GBV. This ensures that the many needs of survivors such as safe houses and shelters, effective medical referral system and prompt legal response are addressed in a comprehensive manner.
